Elderly Woman Crashes into Hallmark Store

Elderly Woman Crashes into Hallmark Store

An 80 year old woman, Joanne Youngblood, was given a careless driving ticket after she crashed into a Hallmark store around 9:30 in the morning in Merritt Island, Florida earlier this month. According to law enforcement, Youngblood was parking and pressed on the gas pedal instead of the brakes before hitting another car and eventually crashing into the nearby Hallmark Store. She crashed through the glass window and luckily there were no structural damages, but the driver of the car that Youngblood hit prior to the crash suffered minor injuries and now, Youngblood will have to retake the driver’s exam in order to assess whether or not she is still capable of driving on the road safely.
