Republican Representative Ralph Hall Hospitalized After Car Accident

The oldest member of congress, Ralph Hall, was airlifted to a Texas Hospital this
past Saturday after sustaining injuries from a car accident he was involved in. Ed
Valentine spoke on Hall’s behalf and said that the accident occurred after a car
turned in front of Halls vehicle causing the collision. As a result, Hall suffered a hip
injury and minors cuts and bruises. Valentine also mentioned that Hall was
conscious and joking with paramedics. The 91- year-old congressman is expected
to have a full recovery, Doctors said.

Hall has served 17 terms in congress and is scheduled to leave office in May after
losing to U.S. Attorney John Ratcliffe in the primary runoff election. When asked
what he would do after his defeat, Hall told Fox News he might "go work at Wal-
Mart. I have to have a job."
