Justin Bieber has found himself in the spotlight yet again and not for another hit single but for another arrest! Earlier this week, Justin was arrested on assault and dangerous driving after his ATV crashed into a mini-van in Ontario. Justin has been seen riding his ATV before –but this time he, allegedly, was trying to enjoy a peaceful day when the paparazzi interrupted his outing. According to the investigation, the ATV collided with the mini-van (who was being driven by paparazzi) and both the driver and Justin Bieber “engaged in a physical altercation.” Because of this, Bieber was charged with assault and dangerous driving.
It’s unclear whether Justin Bieber or the other driver could have avoided the collision, but it’s important to note that ATV accidents are not uncommon. A few years ago, it was estimated that around 400 deaths were related to ATV crashes and their resulting injuries, as well as about 108,000 emergency room treatments related to ATV’s. Many of those who drive them think its okay to go faster than they should or drive more carelessly but that’s not the case.
